Mass E-mail to Ring Mmebers
« on: Apr 13 07 »

An FYI...

When I send a mass mail to ring members using the system script it is inserting a backslash into the text when ever punctuation is used.

If I insert a single apostrophe as in ring's, the resultant when received is ring's.

The same is true with quotes; "john" comes out "john"

The punctuation is there but preceded by the slash.

I'm guessing the script is trying to treat this as punctuation and not as a part of the script, yes?

It's not critical.  Just an FYI to be visited at some point.

Oh cute....

This message board takes them out!

Well its ...  ring(B-slash)'s and (B-slash)"john(B-slash)", respectively.

I believe this is now fixed (please let me know if it isn't, of course!).
