Well, yes and no. The same code is used for each, but the navbar scales the graphic (icon) down to 50x50 no matter what size it is. We're looking at providing multiple graphics for the code and we'll work that out once we have the upload code done.
How DO I post the codes in the Forum?
Just paste it in here.

I don't find the current option good for making our own navigation code. Can I post you my codes so that you can put into the respective rings for me?

Tell us what's not right so we can add optiopns or change the interface. What exactly do you mean when you say you don't find the "current options good"? What's missing?

Sure, post it and we'll see what we can do. Make sure you tell us what you want altered.

The missing part is the html editing. You only include the change of colors but I can't change the whole bar. The old system could do it. I posted 2 of my code here created from the old system. The new system can't make major changes.

What is it that you can't change with the new system?
As for the old code- you can't use the old code from the previous system- it won't work (it'll just forward people to the front page of the site). You'll need to go in and generate the new codes from your Site Management Screen.

I can't put in additional links, can't change the size of the navigation table, can't change the position of the links, can't put in a logo at the place I want. You'll need to go in and generate the new codes from your Site Management Screen. You say the old code won't work, does that mean all existing ring pages need to update the code? While I am only refering to the flexibility of the old system as an example, being able to customise the navigation bar using HTML is a plus. The Site Management Screen is for ring members only. I am posting as a Ring Owner.

Sure you can. (??) You can edit it just like any other code, change it around all you want (within limits, as long as you don't break the code, that is).
You say the old code won't work, does that mean all existing ring pages need to update the code?
Yes, you'll need to put the new code on the site(s) pages. Each site has code for that particular site, so the ring knows that the site belongs and so it can tell what site/ring it's in.
The Site Management Screen is for ring members only. I am posting as a Ring Owner. Ahh, okay, now I understand what you mean. Normally you have to have at least one site in a ring before it's active (the ring's main site or homepage), so you should always be able to go into that site and get the code for the ring there.
We'll add a button or link to the main Rings Management screen so you can get the raw ring code (see below), but understand that you will need to add in your own RING and SITE numbers into the raw code- the raw ring code won't work properly unless you add them in. We'll also work on adding a screen where you can save a specially customized version of your code, although that may take a bit to do.
UPDATE: You may now get the raw ring code here: raw ring code. (The page is accessible from your Rings Management page.) Note that this code won't work "as-is", you'll need to edit it (which is what you asked for, right?).
Read the instructions on the page carefully and if you have questions or need some help, please post here.

where is the instructions for "skip" and "next5" then? Only joking perhaps, but "list" does not contain the "site number" and therefore can't be relied upon for "skip." The sites won't go off line frequently, ( if they do - it is permanently, perhaps, ) but if they do, or load with difficulty, it IS useful to have the skip facility built in!
Only a suggestion....

So how do I set the code as default for my rings?

While we have the user friendly version, we can't do any html modification of the code. I will wait for that function to come out.
