Error when testing my site

I have a couple of rings on my crafts site.  When I go to Manage My Sites and click the Test button to check for the navigation code I get the following error:

ERROR: Navbar code appears to be hidden in an HTML comment. 

Everything else is Passing and then it has the following at the bottom:

Basic Page Tests FAILED. Sorry. Please correct the page and try again.

Skipping Advanced Testing.

What does this error mean?  I have checked the source code of the page and removed the HTML comment but it still comes up with this error.

This is nothing to worry about yet, the error is on our end, not yours. We're still tuning the ring checker code, so ignore these errors for the moment. We'll post an announcement once it's all corrected and working properly.
