What I meant is that example for my webring, I only allow websites that are not sales site or blogs. I need to have a page to list out the stuffs so members would know if their sites is applicable.

Ahhh, okay, I understand.
For the moment I think we'll suggest that everyone just use some common sense and good judgement when joining/approving rings and sites. I'm sure at some point we'll draw up some more formal guidelines, but for now we'll just play it by ear. The only restrictions currently in place are no hate sites (white power, racist, etc) no porn sites, and no warez or spam sites/rings. Blogs are okay, even though personally they aren't our cup of tea.
Other than that we'd like to keep it loose. We're not big on having lots of tons of rules if we can avoid it.
We are big on user involvement- if you have an idea for a guideline or feature, please let us know. For requested features, we'll implement them if we can. We do have some fairly involved stuff in the works already (private messaging, webring mail, a rating system, and some other goodies), so features that may be time-consumng to implement might have to get put on the "to do" list until we can get to them. It's out intention to make this a very full-featured site. We're currently converting the system to a database-driven app and that is frankly, a lot of work. This will allow for a good set of expandable categories and should speed the whole system up quite a bit. So, in the meantime, please bear with us while we grow.

Can ringmaster have the choice of approving site base on the location of their navigation code? I would NOT want the code to be on some page that isn't easy to locate. I would prefer to be able to decide where members should place their code according to the URL they submit.

The signup form has a place for the main website page and an 'entry' page (where the ring code will be placed). It's entirely up to you whether or not you approve a site, and you can ask them to place the ring code where you want it to go (like on the their main page, for example).

Can add the "join ring" link into the list? When anyone click to view the list of sites in a ring, they have to exit the list in order to join.

Sure, you can copy the code into your ring code if you like. We'll look at adding it into the ring code so it appears by default. Not sure how fast we can get to it, but we'll see what we can do.
I think this is what you'd need to add: <a href="http://webringo.com/joinring.php?ringid=CHANGEME" class="ringlink">Join Ring</a>
Edit the " CHANGEME" part to the name of your webring. If you're not sure what this is, you can find out by viewing your ring on the " Find A Ring" page and hovering over the "Join Ring" link. The bit right after " ringid=" is your ring ID.
New Rings must be actively managed, and must have at least 3 member websites within 3 months of the ring having been created. Otherwise they will be automatically deleted
Is it possible to have just 2 members instead of 3?

Or even 1.

Can admin amend the title on the attach screen to the ring title instead? If the ring is example DRAMA WEBRING but the userid is eggcoin, then the attached page will show eggcoin instead of DRAMA WEBRING.
