I'm happy to announce that my son is now a member of the United States Air Force, sworn in today, 4-25-2013 at 10:10 am.

Things are going great; he's at or near the top of his class and he should finish his initial training at Sheppard AFB in early September. :)

He'll come back here for a couple weeks to visit, then report to his first duty station which will be at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. He'll be working with the B2 bombers and other aircraft as part of the support crew (aerospace ground equipment).
