Adding a Ring to your Ring List

Follow these steps to create a ring:
 
1) Click on the Control Panel link in the left side menu and then on the Create a Ring button.

2) Fill in the following items in the Create Ring form:
 
Ring name: The name of your site, e.g. "World Of Toast Web Ring"
 
Ring URL: The full URL to your site, including the 'http://'. This is the page that the ring code (the navbar) must be placed on.
 
Ring Title:  Enter a short, descriptive blurb about the ring, up to 80 characters, i.e. "If you love toast, join this ring!" This blurb will be used on some pages that may list your, such as the results of a search.
 
Ring description: Enter a good, informative description of the ring so people get a good sense of what the theme of the ring is. You can enter up to 250 characters. This will be shown on the Details page for the ring, as well as other specific pages.
 
Ring keywords: Keywords help people connect with your ring, so it's important to use good keywords that relate to your content or theme. Make sure to separate each keyword with a space. For example, "toast toasted bread butter toasters breakfast yummy".
 
3) Click the Create this ring button. The ring will be added to your Ring List.
